With 45 years’ experience in the entertainment world, Rick was for many years Warner Bros’ head of Business and Legal Affairs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He worked closely with many prominent filmmakers before retiring from Warner in 2001.
He has served as Vice-Chair of the British Film Institute, is a Director of Cineworld, Europe’s largest multiplex operator, and a visiting professor at Lincoln University.
Rick has produced several plays and films and has been closely associated with Harry Potter, Greystoke, Batman, Superman and many more. He Executive Produced the BBC and HBO production, “The Casual Vacancy” based on JK Rowling’s global best-selling novel. Rick was also an Executive Producer of the 2016 blockbuster “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” as well as “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Gindelwald”, starring Eddie Redmayne, Johnny Depp and Jude Law.
Rick is a graduate of University College London and a lawyer.
