What a year 2018 has been, our first year as Mad Dog 2020 and we couldn’t have hoped for a more successful 12 months. A massive thanks goes to our fantastic, reliable artists who have been on some of the most exciting productions to ever shoot in the UK. From heading to set for 4am call times to picking up our calls at all hours of the day, thank you for your patience, hard work and resilience! We can’t wait for 2019 and thought we’d round off the year with some great feedback and memorable moments from our artists:

From meeting celebs…

Jenny “I accidentally bumped into David Hasselhoff in the hotel and banged my suitcase into his foot! He’s such a nice guy, he didn’t seem to mind…”

And amazing locations…

Mary “Filming at White Waltham for The Cry because of the airfield’s connection with the women in the war who flew the planes in to there for the pilots, it was a really special experience.”

To genuine challenges!…

Colin “Shooting Highland Games on Outlander, we had to do 16 takes of full on tug-of-war with 4 lads versus 5 …a sore back the next day!”

Not forgetting on-set catering…

Zhe “We were shooting on top of The Leadenhall Building (cheese grater) and having lunch with the crew with views of the London skyline. It was amazing!”

Comical situations…

David “On the film Juliet Naked, I ended up with two wives! Going home and explaining that to my wife at home was quite a laugh…”

When role requirements meet real life…

Charlie “Playing a Prison Medic in an old prison where I was genuinely a medic 20 years ago was quite a memorable one!

Abstract concepts…

Liam “Dancing to Springsteen in Luton Town Centre is something I won’t forget anytime soon!”

Making history…

Hailey “It was quite special being part of Doctor Who history, doubling for the first ever female Dr

Taking direction…

Anthony “Being unexpectedly asked to dance, thinking I was too lively, then seeing the director crawling on the floor maniacally waving at me to dance with MORE energy. Gave everyone a laugh.”

Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous 2019!
